REAL MADRID TRACKING CHELSEA DEFENDER
- Updated: 28 January, 2012
Chelsea defender David Luiz could be targeted by Real Madrid according to reports on a Spanish site this morning.
The Brazilian centre back only arrived at Stamford Bridge last January and has faced some criticism for his inconsistency a times, however fichajes.com claim Jose Mourinho is keen to bring him to the Bernabeu to replace Pepe.
The controversial Portugal international has been dogged by controversy, not least last week after stamping on the hand of Lionel Messi in his side’s home defeat to Barcelona, and could be on his way out of Mourinho’s squad.
Chelsea boss Andres Villas-Boas would be reluctant to let Luiz go but may be tempted should the Spanish side table a substantial offer.
