Six players to watch in La Liga this season

Adrian Lopez
A testament to Adrian’s ability was the growing number of calls for him to be taken to Euro 2012, seen by many as the best player to replicate what David Villa offered Spain. Adrian gives not only goals, but the type Villa offers for Spain and Barcelona which is why he’s seen as the man to inherit the number seven shirt for La Seleccion.
Of the 18 goals scored by Adrian last season, a third were game winners, and the quality of all 18 was astonishing. The 24 year olds technique, finishing and dribbling ability was bettered by very few in the league and he exploited the opportunity given in Europe to become one of Atleti’s most prominent players on their way to claiming the trophy.
It was Adrian’s first real breakout season in La Liga and if he continues his end of season form through the Olympics and into the new campaign Spain are very much set to have a new star ready for the World Cup.
