Samuel Galindo (Gimnastic de Tarragona)
Galindo arrived in January 2010 from Bolivian club Real America, and was immediately faced with comparisons with Patrick Vieira, poor lad.
He eventually ended up treading a by now familiar route for Arsenal youngsters when he started the following season at Salamanca.
However the club endured a miserable season, and by Christmas Galindo was sidelined with a fractured ankle which effectively ended his campaign.
This year has hardly been much better, with the muscular central midfielder in and out of a Gimnastic de Tarragona side which is rooted to the foot of the Liga Adelante, Spain’s second division, and who therefore sacked their manager last week.
Future Arsenal first teamer?
Has a chance if he can ever secure a work permit, but to do that he needs an opportunity in a better side on loan if he is to eventually prosper.
