YOUNG GUNNERS IN SPAIN – Four Arsenal kids in La Liga
- Updated: 18 January, 2012
Wellington Silva (CD Alcoyano)
Another South American youngster, more work permit problems (the initial offer of a Special Talent visa was subsequently withdrawn) and an unhappy loan spell at Levante which ended with him being sent back to England last October because of an apparently poor attitude.
It has not been a great twelve months for this Brazilian under 17 star, and if he thought his surroundings at the Ciutat de Valencia were humble compared to the Emirates, one shudders to think what he will make of life at modest Liga Adelante side Alcoyano, his new posting as from last weekend.
Future Arsenal first teamer?
Too early to say, but the initial signs are not promising.
