CARLOS TEVEZ LINKED WITH BARÇA BY CATALAN PRESS
- Updated: 31 January, 2012
Barcelona have been linked with a shock move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez by Catalan daily newspaper Sport.
The relationship between Tevez and City manager Roberto Mancini broke down earlier this season and the player fled back to Argentina last month despite being refused permission by Eastlands official.
Desperate to find away out of his self-imposed exile at City, reports emerged last night that the player had been offered to Barça by his agent Kia Joorabchian.
Pep Guardiola has reiterated that he will not be making any signings in this transfer window, however the reports claim that developments could change.
Tevez could be seen as an ideal loan replacement for the injured David Villa and Manchester CIty may be willing to agree to a loan deal, especially as negotiations to sell the player to Italian side Inter broke down this week.
