LA LIGA SIDE EYEING EVERTON STAR
- Updated: 26 January, 2012
Everton defender Johnny Heitinga could be on his way back to la liga according to claims from Dutch media sources.
Heitinga has played 22 times for David Moyes side this season and is a key part of the Everton team, however ElfVoetbal claim the Dutch international is being targeted by Real Mallorca.
The 28-year-old is currently in his third season at Goodison Park following a £6 million transfer from Atletico Madrid, and has settled well on Merseyside making 68 appearances in total for the club.
New Mallorca coach Joaquin Caparros is said to be interested in bringing the player back to Spain, however it seems doubtful the la liga side have the available finances to prise Hetinga away from Everton.
