CITY JOIN MALAGA IN HUNT FOR SERIE A STAR
- Updated: 25 January, 2012
Manchester City have shown an interest in long-term Malaga target David Pizarro, according to Spanish media reports.
Roberto Mancini has been linked with Roma’s Chilean striker before, despite City already having one of the strongest forward lines in world football at Eastlands.
Pizarro’s future at the Italian club seems unclear after reports of a fallout with coach Luis Enrique.
The player has long-been linked to a possible switch to la liga side Malaga.
However, Manchester City would appear favourites if they followed interest in taking Pizarro to the Etihad Stadium.
