Chelsea face competition from Spanish side Granada for the signature of Medo Kamara, according the media reports today.
Andres Villas-Boas was linked with a move for the Partizan Belgrade midfielder last week, with reports suggesting he was keen on a move to Stamford Bridge.
The story also claimed 24-year-old was being tracked by Liverpool.
Chelsea have struggled for consistency in the Premier League this season, currently sitting 13 points behind leaders Manchester City, and Villas-Boas is keen to bring some new faces to the club.
However Kamara has now now also been linked to Granada, who are looking to strengthen their side following the dismissal of coach Fabri Gonzalez this week.
The Sierra Leone international has impressed for the reigning Serbian champions, leading to the reported interest being shown from both Chelsea and Liverpool in recent weeks.
