CITY WANT MOURINHO
- Updated: 29 January, 2012
Jose Mourinho could be on his way to Manchester City during the summer, according to British press reports.
Roberto Mancini is under pressure at City and could face the axe if he fails to bring the Premier League title to the big spending blues.
Mourinho has emerged as the number one target to replace the Italian, according to reports in British newspaper The Mirror, and the Real Madrid coach is said to be keen on a move back to England.
The Spanish side are currently seven points clear of rivals Barcelona at the top of la liga, however Mourinho hHas become increasingly frustrated at criticism he has received from Spanish media outlets such as Marca and also an alleged division within his side at the Bernabeu.
Manchester City’s billionaire owner Sheikh Mansour is said to be disappointed with City’s elimination from three cup tournaments so far this season and failure to lift the Premier League title could prove fatal for Mancini.
