QPR LEAD FULHAM IN CHASE FOR LA LIGA MIDFIELDER
- Updated: 22 January, 2012
Queen’s Park Rangers are leading Fulham in the race to sign Levante’s Xavi Torres according to claims on a Spanish website.
The new coach at Loftus Road, Mark Hughes, who also managed Fulham, is looking to strengthen the Londoners squad and is said to be keen on the 25-year-old defensive midfielder.
Fulham are also said to be interested in Torres, who is currently at Levante on loan from Malaga, but QPR seem favourites if he were to move to the Premier League.
