VAN PERSIE ON HIS WAY TO LA LIGA?

Arsenal forward Robin van Perise is on the verge of quitting the club with Barcelona favourites for his signature claim Spanish media reports.

The Dutch international has told Arsene Wenger he no longer wants to play at the Emirates Stadium according to Fichajes.net and has made no secret of his desire to move to the Camp Nou.

Frustrated at Arsenal’s inability to challenge for honours and the departure of stars such as Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, van Persie looks to have finally decided his future lies elsewhere.

The player has been in prolific form this season and his departure would be a massive blow for both Wenger and Arsenal.
