Manchester City have set their sights on the signature of Barcelona’s Pedro according to a Spanish website.
Roberto Mancini’s men have experienced a dip in form in recent weeks and the Italian has already begun highlighting players he would like to bring to the Etihad Stadium in the summer.
Spanish site Fichajes.com are reporting that City will attempt to prise the 24-year-old winger away from the Camp Nou, despite the fact Pedro has a €150 million release clause in his contract.
Mancini is under increasing pressure at City as they have seen rivals Manchester United cut a five-point gap at the top of the table following the blues defeat at Everton on Tuesday.
City have also been eliminated from the FA Cup and League Cup in recent weeks, despite Mancini have spent millions to bring the world’s top talent to Eastlands.
