BARCELONA STAR ALL SET FOR ANFIELD SWITCH?

Liverpool’s pursuit of Seydou Keita is set to intensify after the Barcelona midfielder spoke of his admiration for the Premier League club yesterday.
Kenny Dalglish was linked with a move for the Mali international in January and looks certain continue his efforts to bring the 32-year-old to Anfield after Keita said he would be interested in a move to Liverpool: “A challenge elsewhere would appeal to me, and Liverpool are a great team with great players,” Keita is quoted as saying by TalkSport.
“We will wait until the end of the season to see what happens. I love Barcelona, it is difficult to find a better team than them, but I am ambitious and want to play football every week.”
Dalglish has already highlighted a number of players he wants at Anfield next season and Liverpool look set to overhaul a squad that has experienced a frustrating league campaign this term, despite lifting the Carling Cup on Sunday.
