ROBERTO SOLDADO
EFE
The Real Madrid youth product is enjoying a splendid season for Valencia, scoring 24 goals in 34 matches for Los Che. Known for his pace and sublime finishing ability, his off the ball runs and positioning sense would remind some of David Villa. Robert ‘Soldier’ (as his name translates to in English) came on in the second half in Spain’s victory over Venezuela last month and had a brace to his name after just seven minutes. Despite missing a penalty in the 83rd, he went on to complete an amazing hat-trick – not a bad way to return to the national team after a five year absence.
