UNITED YOUNGSTER SET FOR LA LIGA SWITCH?
- Updated: 1 March, 2012
Manchester United youngster Paul Pogba is on the agenda of big-spending la liga outfit Malaga say Spanish press reports today.
Pogba is out of contract at Old Trafford in June and United have offered the 18-year-old £20,000-per-week in a new deal, which the Frenchman has so far turned down.
News Futbol now claim Pogba is wanted by Malaga and suggest the Andalucian side are willing to better any offer made by United to bring the player to Spain.
United have become increasingly frustrated with the breakdown in contract negotiations and blame Pogba’s Italian agent, Mino Railoa for the worsening relationship between club and player.
Sources at Old Trafford believe it is now unlikely that the youngster will remain at United beyond the end of the season and many believe the highly-rated midfielder could be on his way to Spain.
