Liverpool star being considered by Spanish giants

Liverpool’s Dutch international Dirk Kuyt is one of a number of players currently being considered as transfer targets by La Liga giants Barcelona according to reports in MundoDeportivo.
The 31-year-old striker looks set to leave Anfield at the end of the season and reports suggest the Catalans are considering a move for the Liverpool favourite.
The Barcelona-based sports paper also claim new Barca may be interested in a move for Manchester United’s unstteled Bulgarian star Dimitar Berbatov, as last years Uefa Champions League winners look to bring a new striker to the club after losing their La Liga crown to bitter rivals Real Madrid.
Kuyt joined Liverpool from Eredivisie outfit Feyenoord in 2006 and has gone on to make over 200 appearances under former managers Rafa Benitez and Roy Hosgson and current boss, Kenny Dalglish. The Dutch international has also scored over 50 goals in his six years at the Merseyside club.
The Mail Online recently claimed Kuyt would lead an exodus of players from Anfield as Liverpool begin the task of rebuilding their squad.
