Alvaro Negredo
The Torres controversy aside, Spain still have something of a question mark looming at the number 9 position. Fernando Llorente is undoubtedly one of the greatest aerial threats at the tournament but his style is best suited as a substitute role, proving less cohesive with this Spain side than with his club.
Picked ahead of the aforementioned Soldado, Negredo is an interesting case; his physical tools are average but his finishing skills have certainly been clinical for Sevilla. With six goals in 10 appearances for La Furia Roja, he has the tools to be a prolific striker in the event Torres falters. Look for Negredo to get on the scoresheet a few times this summer.
