Newcastle eye swoop for Spanish international hitman

Newcastle United are lining up a move for former Barcelona star Bojan Krkic according to reports from TalkSPORT.
Toon boss Alan Pardew wants to strengthen his attack at St James Park and it is claimed Newcastle have contacted the Spanish international’s club Roma about a possible deal.
TalkSPORT report Italian sports daily Corriere della Sport as claiming Newcastle are willing to offer the Serie A club Davide Santon as part-exchange in anydeal to take Bojan to the North East.
Santon arrived in England last summer in a £5.3 million deal from Inter, however Roma are believed to be keen on defensive reinforcements and the player could bring down any transfer fee for Bojan.
The 21-year-old forward is a graduate of Barcelona’s famed la Masia youth academy and played over one hundred games for the Catalan giants before heading to Italy last summer to link up with former Barca B team coach Luis Enrique.
Newcastle have already sold Leon Best to Blackburn this summer and rumours persist over the future of Demba Ba who enjoyed a fantastic first season at St James Park last term.
