Hector Moreno
In recent seasons Espanyol have shown moments of sheer quality under Mauricio Pochettino and on occasion spent extended periods near the top of the table, when it happened this season, the Catalans calmness and ability with the ball was epitomized by Moreno during his first season in Spain.
Dominant in the air and on the ground The 24 year old has won himself a starting place in the backline of a rapidly improving Mexico team. If Moreno continues to show his fantastic ability at both ends of the pitch in his second La Liga season it could result in a move to a bigger team as soon as next summer.
