Jordi Alba Valencia to Barcelona
Finally, Alba is a Barcelona player. In a saga that rumbled on for months, it appeared that Barca were about to miss out on the Spanish international. Having been one of the players of the tournament at Euro 2012, Alba attracted the interest of Manchester United but eventually concluded a deal to take him back to where he started his career. Alba will add yet another attacking dimension to the team and represents good value at £11m – especially for a player who will be starting for years to come.
You can thoroughly expect to see more moves being completed this month, and we’ve barely seen Real Madrid in action during this transfer window, though rumours of a moves for Luka Modric and Maicon continue to circulate.
