Liverpool eye January move for Spanish hitman

Liverpool are rumoured to be interested in signing former Barcelona striker Manuel Agudo Durán – better known as Nolito.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has said he will be active in the transfer market in January and TalkSPORT suggest Liverpool could make a move for the 26-year-old Benfica forward.
Nolito played just two senior games under Pep Guardiola at the Camp Nou, but managed over one hundred for Barcelona B during a three-year stint at the club.
The Catalans offered Nolito a professional contract last summer, however, it is understood he refused and instead signed a five-year deal at Portuguese outfit Benfica.
The Spaniard made an impressive start for his new club and equaled Eusebio’s record of scoring in five consecutive games at the start of last season. He went on to score 11 times in 29 games at the Estadio da Luz.
Nolito has since failed to command a first team spot under coach Jorge Jesus and it is believed Benfica will listen to offers for the player in January.
It is understood this news will alert Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers who is desperate to increase his attacking options at Anfield. The Merseyside club currently lie in twelth place in the Premier League – just four points above the drop zone.
