Man United set for Spanish battle in pursuit of wonderkid

Manchester United could be set for battle in the pursuit of English starlet Wilifried Zaha after it was claimed neighbours City and Real Madrid have also got their sights on the forward.
It has been reported by the Manchester Evening News that United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is tracking the 20-year-old and could go head-to-head with also-interested City boss Roberto Mancini, in an effort to get him to Old Trafford.
However, Mirror Football now report that Real Madrid are monitoring the player, who has also been linked with Arsenal, with coach Jose Mourinho said to have sent scouts from the Spain to watch Zaha play for his club, Crystal Palace.
Zaha is understood to have been on Ferguson’s radar since inspiring Palace to a shock victory over United last November on is understood to be seen as a potential replacement for Portuguese winger Nani who could be on his way out of Old Trafford.
Ferguson is also reported to be interested in bringing £40 million rated James Rodriguez to United.
