REAL MADRID OFFER €22M FOR LUIS SUAREZ CLAIM SPANISH DAILY
- Updated: 16 January, 2012
Liverpool’s Luis Suarez has been the subject of a €22 million offer from Real Madrid according to Spanish daily Sport.es.
The Uruguayan striker is currently serving an eight match ban imposed by the English FA after being found guilty of racial abusing Manchester United’s Patrice Evra, and has faced heavy criticism in the British media.
Liverpool have maintained their support for Suarez however, and will be unwilling to let him leave the club he joined for €26.5 million last year.
There have also been reports from a number of Spanish agencies that Madrid’s Argentine hitman, Gonzalo Higuian has been interesting the English club and could be part of any future deal.

Highly unlikely. Mourinhos side sit top of La Liga and are playing some fantastic football. It is doubtful the Portuguese coach would be inclined to upset the balance of the team by introducing another high-profile players such as Suarez, even if Liverpool were willing to sell – and they are not…
