LIVERPOOL SET FOR €35M SUAREZ OFFER FROM MADRID?
- Updated: 19 January, 2012
Liverpool are continuing to resist overtures from Real Madrid for star stiker Luis Suarez, but reports in Spain claim the Reds could be offered up to €35 million to prise him away from Anfield.
Suarez is a key man in Kenny Dalgish’s side, despite recent controversy, and the Liverpool manager will be desperate to keep him on Merseyside.
It was reported that an offer had been made of €22 million last week which was turned down at Anfield but a Spanish website this evening claimed Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was willing to pay Liverpool up to €35 million to get the Uruguayan star.
